The Econo HP™ Dual Air Wastewater Treatment System offers homeowners a strong and efficient way to handle household wastewater. It’s built with a three-chamber design to provide thorough treatment while staying simple to manage. This system has been tested and approved to NSF/ANSI Standard 40, so you know it meets important safety and environmental standards.
System Design:
• Aerated Pre-Treatment Chamber

• Clarifier Chamber (Quiet Zone)
How It Works:
The process starts in the aerated pre-treatment chamber, where air is introduced to begin breaking down waste and keep heavy materials from reaching the next stages. This helps the rest of the system work smoothly.
Next, wastewater flows into the aeration chamber through a four-inch opening. Here, air is pumped through diffusers, creating lots of tiny bubbles that mix the water and provide oxygen. This oxygen helps aerobic bacteria grow and break down the waste into safer, stable substances.
After treatment in the aeration chamber, the water moves into the clarifier chamber, or quiet zone, where the water becomes still and solids settle to the bottom as sludge. A slope at the bottom of the clarifier chamber returns the settled solids back to the aeration chamber for further cleaning. The treated water flows out through the double tee, ensuring consistent treatment results.
