Rated Capacity: 500 GPD, 600 GPD, 750 GPD, and 1000 GPD

Description:

The CajunAire™ Advanced Wastewater Treatment System offers a higher level of treatment while remaining affordable for homeowners. It uses an extra stage to improve how effectively it cleans wastewater. This system is tested and certified to meet NSF/ANSI Standard 40.

System Design:
• Pre-Treatment Chamber
• Aeration Chamber
• Clarifier Chamber (Quiet Zone)

How It Works:

Wastewater first enters the pre-treatment chamber, which helps hold back heavier solids and materials that could cause problems later in the treatment process. This initial separation helps protect the rest of the system and improves overall treatment.

From there, the water flows into the aeration chamber, where air keeps everything mixed and provides oxygen. The oxygen supports aerobic bacteria, which feed on waste and break it down into simpler, safer materials. The returning sludge in this chamber gives the water a brown color, showing the treatment is working well.

The partially cleaned water then flows into the clarifier chamber, where solids settle to the bottom as sludge. This activated sludge is returned to the aeration chamber to help treat new incoming wastewater. The clean water, known as effluent, rises to the top and is ready for safe discharge under local regulations.

The CajunAire™ Advanced system offers more powerful treatment for homeowners who want extra peace of mind that their wastewater is being thoroughly cleaned.
